If you want to remove the unsupported OS warning message in Chrome on Windows 7/8/8.1, the following steps:

Method 1:

Press “WIN+R” key combination to launch RUN dialog box then type “regedit” and press Enter. It Will open Registry Editor.

Now go to the address given below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies

Under Policies key, Create a new key and set its name to “Google”.

Then open Created Google key,

Under Google key, create a new key and set its name to “Chrome”

So the final key path will be:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome

Now select Chrome key and in Right-side pane, right-click and select the New “ DWORD (32-bit) Value” option. Set the new DWORD name as “SuppressUnsupportedOSWarning”

Double-click on the DWORD and change its value from 0 to 1.

Now restart the Chrome browser and the unsupported OS warning banner will not show
